Biography

Qantas Socceroos
In what has become a remarkable 12 months for this talented midfielder, he has gone from being an AIS graduate to full national team player, all by the time he is 18 years old. Signed on as a short-term replacement with the Newcastle Jets, but quickly showed his promise with some dominant displays as they charged towards their inaugural Hyundai A-League Championship title. As a player of the future, was given chance to train with senior national team, but quickly showed his maturity and was given a start in a mostly Australian-based team that played Singapore in March. Made a dream move to AZ Alkmaar, the Dutch Champions in 2008 but in his first season had to be content with a place in the Reserves. Will be a key player for the Qantas Young Socceroos (U20) at the 2009 FIFA World Youth Cup in Egypt.
