Biography

Qantas Socceroos

One of an exciting number of players that are coming through and will form the backbone of the national team for many years. Has represented Australia at all levels, after making his debut for the Qantas Socceroos in March 2007 against China. Has played all his professional football in Italy, after he was signed by Inter Milan straight from the Australian Institute of Sport, following the 2001 Under 17 World Cup. After several seasons in their youth and reserve teams, has been loaned out to Spal and Grosseto in the tough Italian lower divisions. That grounding has served him well and in his several appearances for the national team, has looked assured in his defensive midfield role. Moved to Sassuolo
