Has been a remarkable rise for this quietly spoken midfielder; in the space of two years going from State League footballer to national team player. Not that he is foreign to national teams as he played at the 2003 World Youth Championships in the UAE for Australia, but since earning a short-term contract with Central Coast Mariners has made every post a winner. Earned a full time contract and has become such an integral member of the team and he named Mariners Players Player of the Year in their charge to their inaugural Premiership in 2008. Rewarded with call up to national team, making debut in Singapore in March 2008. His brilliant form in the half of the 2008/09 season saw him secure a move to Turkish club Genclerbirligi in January 2009, and he then took a loan move to Antalyaspor at the start of the 09/10 season.
