Biography
Qantas Socceroos
A late bloomer, the former Wollongong bus driver rose to national prominence with his home club Wollongong Wolves, who he helped win two national titles. After winning his second Australian player of the year award in 2001 he moved to Switzerland, where he continued his club success assisting Basel to three championships and two cup final victories in his five seasons at the club. A natural left–sided player, his main asset is his pace and an ability to take on and regularly beat defenders. He has been a regular in the national team since making his debut in 1998.
