We approach the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season with much anticipation and excitement. To survive and thrive in this highly competitive league, the Board has committed to two critical strategies:
- On field success
- Financial stability
The Club cannot expect to achieve either without your support.
Membership is the foundation on which all sporting clubs around the world are built. It is a matter of passion, of choice and being valued.
- Strong membership provides long term financial stability for sporting organisations.
- The ability for our club to re-invest in both its senior and youth football departments.
- Provide an exciting and safe game day experience,
- Foster strong commercial partnerships
For the first time, Adelaide United is providing fans with the opportunity to become a member, as distinct from being a ticket holder. The membership package includes the right to vote on the composition of the Adelaide United Football Club Committee. Up to three of our 2011/12 financial members will be elected to the Club’s Management Committee which reports to the Board.
South Australia has a proud history of football achievement in this country and in its short existence, Adelaide United Football Club has continued on with this successful tradition. On field honours include being crowned the inaugural Hyundai A-League premiers, runners-up of the prestigious AFC Asian Champions League in 2008 and qualification and a fifth place finish at the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup. Adelaide United FC’s success in Asia is second to none in Australia.
We want all South Australians and our fans interstate and abroad to join us on our journey of continuing to be at the forefront of football success, development and entertainment in Australia. With your support we can lift our club and our state to a new level in football entertainment. We are South Australia’s team in a National Competition – OUR TEAM, OUR STATE
