Club agrees to part ways with van Dijk

Adelaide United FC advises that striker Sergio van Dijk has officially been released from his contract to pursue a career with Indonesian club PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, effective immediately.

The mutual termination agreement to end van Dijk’s contract early is in the best interests of both parties. Adelaide United would like to thank Sergio for his contribution during his time at the club and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.

During his time at the club, the Dutch marksman made a total of 70 appearances and scored 29 goals in all competitions, while his Hyundai A-League record at the Reds reads 25 goals from 55 games. He also won the Hyundai A-League Golden Boot in 2011/12.
