Season tickets & memberships for Season 8 of the Hyundai A-League are on sale soon! The Reds need you in 2012/13.
Membership is a matter of choice and about being respected, and we respect every member’s right to choose the category which best suits them.
The club is committed to growing its membership base and to that end has established Adelaide United Members Club (AUMC) Inc. complete with voting rights. It provides a sense of ownership, of being able to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and being part of a member based entity. As an Incorporated Not for Profit Entity, the club can now apply for Government Grants. In addition we can also join Clubs SA and receive all associated benefits.
This season we have included the option to join AUMC Inc. as part of the packages. Not everyone will want to; some will just want access to matches. Thus there are two clear options both independent of each other – a) a Season Ticket, and b) an Adelaide United Members Club Inc. Financial Membership.
A Season Ticket includes a Gold (Reserved) or Red (General Admission) seat for all 14 matches at Hindmarsh Stadium and recognition as an Honorary Member.
This season we have also simplified our seating categories by reverting back to just the Red and Gold categories and eliminating the Blue section. We feel this will help to improve the overall atmosphere at the ground.
We have also reduced the price of a Red ticket to help attract more families and students by making tickets more affordable. Last season an adult Red season ticket worked out to be $18 per match. In 2012/13, the price will be just $16.50 per match (match day tickets will cost $25 at the gate).
In addition to your season ticket, it is your right to decide whether you wish to have a greater involvement at the club. If so, you can also choose to become an AUMC Inc. Financial Member which entitles you to voting rights, exclusive invitations to information meetings, the right to attend the AGM and receive Annual reports.
We appeal to all fans to consider joining the club, especially through ordering season tickets, the key reason being that the proceeds of your season ticket and membership go directly to the club. Individual match day ticket purchases incur additional fees from the agents.
In addition to the benefits outlined below, a Members Prize Draw will be held on Friday 31 August at the club’s Season Launch, where one lucky member will win $1,000. To be eligible, you must sign up as a 2012/13 member before 5pm Thursday 30 August 2012.
