Biography

Vidosic relocated from Croatia to Brisbane with his parents at age one when his father accepted an offer to play for the Queensland Lions. An exciting young attacking midfielder, who can also play as a striker, Dario Vidosic emerged as a young talent with Queensland Roar in the initial years of the Hyundai A-League, before his ability took him overseas where he was signed by ambitious German side FC Nurnberg. His second season with Nurnberg saw the club win promotion back to the Bundesliga, with Vidosic scoring some crucial late season goals. Selection for the Qantas Socceroos followed in 2009 as he became one of Australia’s attacking midfield options. He made his international debut for Australia in 2010, coming on as a late sub in the final World Cup qualifier against Japan, although he didn’t play in South Africa. In 2011, Vidosic returned to Australia to play for Hyundai A-League team Adelaide United in a bid to further his career and play more first-team football.’
