Biography
 
Izzo started playing football as an outfield player at Under 9’s before deciding to become a goalkeeper. He is regarded as one of the best young goalkeeping talents in Australia, with former Socceroos goalkeeper Ron Corry, who has worked with Izzo at the AIS, stating Izzo is the best talent and most natural mover he has coached since Mark Bosnich. Izzo was the Qantas Joeys’ number one keeper at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico and will be looking to continue his development.
