| In his career to date, Dilevski has shown he can play as a midfielder, right sided defender or right wing-back. At the age of 15 while with the Victorian Institute of Sport, Dilevski was spotted and recruited by Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven where he played in the youth and reserves teams before moving to England to EPL powerhouse Tottenham Hotspur at 19 where he played with their reserve team. Tottenham offered him an extension on his contract but Dilevski chose to move back to Australia for the first season of the Hyundai A-League, joining Brisbane Roar in order to get some first team experience.
After two seasons and 33 games for Brisbane he moved to Romania where he played 80 games for Universitatea Craiova. He has represented Australia at the 2003 and 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship as well as the 2004 Summer Olympics. |
