Football Federation Australia (FFA) has met with Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) to discuss changes to its constitution which would expand representation of key stakeholders in the sport’s Congress in Australia.

FFA’s intention to review the operating and ownership structure of the Hyundai A-League in order to attract more investment and increase the value of the league was also discussed.

FFA is seeking an extraordinary general meeting of the Congress by the end of March to consider a special resolution to amend the Constitution of FFA based on the outcome of the stakeholder consultation process.

The FFA Board will be updated on this week’s discussions with the Member Federations, Hyundai A-League club chairmen and PFA at a meeting on Saturday.
