Player agent Lou Sticca – the man who engineered Alessandro Del Piero’s move to Sydney FC – says Brazilian World Cup winner and now free agent Ronaldinho is on the radar of Hyundai A-League clubs.

Speaking with www.foxsports.com.au , Sticca said representation has been made for the superstar Brazilian, who is a free agent after reportedly parting ways with Atletico Mineiro overnight.

“Some calls have already been made and now it’s up to A-League clubs to make a play for him,” Sticca told foxsports.com.au.

“Anything’s possible and he’s exactly the sort we should be bringing here.

Sticca added the Aussie lifestyle and a summer of football is right up the alley of the former Barca star and two-time FIFA World Player of the Year.

“It would be a new frontier, he’d love lifestyle and the way fans would respect him,” he said.

“He’s globally recognisable and an entertainer.”

The Hyundai A-League kicks off in October with Spanish superstar David Villa set for a ten game stint with Melbourne City.

“He’s got a raft of representation, layer upon layer. It’s difficult to get to his decision maker and take it from there, but there’s definitely Australian interest,” Sticca added.
