Brisbane Roar has approval a request from midfielder Ben Halloran for a transfer to a German Bundesliga 2 club.
The 20-year-old signed with Brisbane 12 months ago after beginning his career with Gold Coast United in the Hyundai A-League 2011/12 season.
“We never want to stand in the way of a player pursuing their dreams overseas,” Managing Director Sean Dobson said.
“As a club, we’ve got a great tradition of footballers forging successful careers overseas.
“We’ve enjoyed having Ben here and we hope he goes on to do great things in Germany.”
Halloran made 28 appearances for the Roar, scoring four goals, before earning himself a new contract with the German club this month.
