Spotted by Brisbane Roar assistant coach Rado Vidosic while playing for German club Arminia Bielefeld, Besart Berisha became a Brisbane Roar player in August 2011, boosting the squad’s attacking stocks following the departure of Golden Boot winner Kosta Barbarouses. The Albanian international has had stints in Germany, Norway, Denmark and England and while his career has been hampered with several injuries, Berisha has proven that when given steady game time, he can find the back of the net on a regular basis.
