Biography
 
Signed on an injury-cover deal early in the 2009/10 season, Ivan Franjic made the step up to the Hyundai A-League without skipping a beat and quickly earned himself a full-time contract with Brisbane Roar. Defensively sound with a great engine that allows him to get forward and contribute in attack, the Victorian Premier League product has flourished in his right-back role over the past twelve months with his performances even touting him as a future Qantas Socceroo in some circles. His exciting runs down the wing and impressive passing ability also earned Franjic a place in the Professional Footballers’ Association Team of the Year for the 2010/11 season.
