Biography
 
After graduating from the Australian Institute of Sport in 2007, Jurman moved to Sydney from his home-town Wollongong where he emerged through the youth system and eventually made several first team appearances in his preferred defensive position. The 21-year-old signed for the Roar early in 2011 and will be looking to cement his place in the Brisbane back four and emulate the exceptional defensive record set by the club in their record-breaking 2010/11 season. Jurman’s notable height and frame make for an intimidating presence on the pitch and the youngster’s international career is already underway, featuring regularly in the Qantas Olyroos set-up with a keen eye on making the squad for the 2012 Olympic Games.
