Biography
 
Striker Daniel McBreen was born in the United Kingdom however grew up in Newcastle, Australia, making his debut for Newcastle United in the National Soccer League. After a successful time with his hometown club, McBreen ventured to sides in Romania, Scotland and England between 2002 and 2009, including Universtatea Craiova, Falkirk, and Scunthorpe United. Retuning home in 2009, McBreen arrived at the Mariners following spells with North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory. McBreen signed a contract extension with the Mariners in May of 2012, a deal that will see the marksman remain with the Club until at least the end of the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season.
