| John Sutton joined the Mariners on an initial four-month loan from Scottish Premier League outfit Heart of Midlothian.
The burly marksman has enjoyed successful stints with Hearts, Motherwell and St. Mirren in the SPL.
Born in Norwich, England, Sutton spent part of his youth career with London powerhouse Tottenham Hotspur, before steadily making a name for himself in the English and Scottish leagues.
The powerful attackers’ career took off when he joined St. Mirren in 2005, scoring 25 goals in 64 games for ‘The Saints’.
But it was with Motherwell that the marksman enjoyed arguably his best spell, slamming home 31 goals in 98 matches for the men from ‘Fir Park’. |
