Nominations

Hall of Champions recognises outstanding performance on the playing field in an Australian representative capacity.

Hall of Honour recognises outstanding and sustained contribution as an official or in another non-playing capacity.

Nominations for 2011 are now closed.

The Football Hall of Fame Committee will determine the 2011 inductees. All 2011 inductees will be notified by Football Federation Australia and officially conducted at the Hall of Fame luncheon on Tuesday 29 November 2011 in Sydney.

Eligibility criteria

- Players have to be retired.

- Coaches, referees, administrators or media representatives may be recognised for their overall sustained contribution to the game. Recipients of an Australian Football Award may also be considered.

- Nominees must be Australian citizens.

- All nominations must be for individuals.

- Unsuccessful nominees may be re-nominated in subsequent years.
