Equally at home in midfield or defence, Argentine recruit Jonatan Germano’s versatility makes him a crucial member of the Melbourne Heart FC squad. While Germano joins from Estudiantes, the Buenos Aires native is no stranger to playing football abroad, having spent stints on loan with HNK Rijeka in Croatia, the former club of Heart Assistant Coach Ante Milicic and Paraguay’s Sportivo Luqueno. Joining Heart on a two-year deal, the silky skilled utility will no doubt make his mark on the Hyundai A-League in the seasons to come.
