A marauding full back, Michael Marrone emerged as one of Melbourne Heart FC’s most consistent performers last season, quickly becoming an indispensible member of the starting eleven. Having featured in the AFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup, Marrone’s experience belies his youth, a trait further reinforced by his composure in possession. Marrone has represented Australia at youth international level and was drafted to the Qantas Socceroos squad during the 2011 Asian Cup qualifying campaign.
