Biography
 
An elegant central defender, Simon Colosimo has forged an enviable career both at home and abroad, plying his trade in Turkey, Malaysia and England, where the 32-year-old completed a stint with Manchester City. Colosimo’s versatility and unique ball playing ability has made him a regular member of the Qantas Socceroos squad for nearly a decade, earning 26 caps, including most recently in the decisive Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia. The Melbourne-born star was also selected for the 2005 Confederations Cup in Germany, while he started in all three games for the Olyroos at the 2000 Sydney Games.
