Biography
 
Adrian Leijer was part of Melbourne Victory's inaugural squad and played a key role in the club's first Premiership and Championship in 2006/07 before Fulham came knocking with a three-year deal at the end of that season. Leijer returned to Melbourne Victory in 2009 and was named captain following Kevin Muscat’s retirement in 2011. A strong and uncompromising defender, Leijer will look to lead the club back to its former glory days.
