Velaphi has built a great reputation over recent seasons, kicked-off by a man-of-the-match performance in a 2-1 win over his new club Melbourne Victory when on loan at Brisbane Roar in early 2007. Born in Perth, Velaphi enjoyed four years with Glory before moving to Melbourne at the end of the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League Season. The latest in a long line of talented keepers to work under highly respected goalkeeping coach Steve Mautone, Velaphi looks to have a bright future between the sticks at AAMI Park.
