Biography
 
Jacob Burns is the captain of Perth Glory, a natural born leader who is the complete professional. A former Socceroo, Burns also had a distinguished career overseas, playing in the English Premier league and the world's greatest club competition, the Champions League with Leeds United. After stints in Poland and Romania, Burns joined Perth Glory in 2009/10. In two seasons with the club, Burns has been a standout, with his tireless and selfless work in the centre of midfield setting up countless attacks while also stopping the opposition from getting forward. Burns capped off a brilliant 2010/11 season when he was named the club's Most Glorious Player.
