Midfield: Harry Noon (Heidelberg United) - The Bergers’ enforcer never gave Glory a moment’s peace, bossed the midfield with his incessant work-rate and tough tackling.

Yutaro Shin (Sydney United 58) - Was everywhere for the home side, lead the United revival after going a goal down and scored twice in the stunning 7-2 win for the NPL NSW outfit over FNQ Heat.

Forwards: Daniel Araujo (Blacktown City) - Skilful, tricky and a constant outlet. His lead up play for Gibbs’ winner an example of his qualities, on a night when City showed Australia yet again why they are up for the Cup.

Jarrod Kyle (Gold Coast City FC) - The former Sydney FC man was in irresistible form, smashing a hat-trick and looking very much like a potential A-League player again.

Joey Gibbs (Blacktown) - Looks in peak form right now. His two goals against Mariners – the first a sublime free kick and his second, an expertly guided low shot to win it for City – a reminder of what he is capable of.

Sean Ellis (Heidelberg) - Not that well known outside of NPL Victoria circles, but he certainly put himself on the map with a classy display upfront for United in their 1-0 win over Perth Glory.
