The board of Sydney Football Club has decided to end Frank Farina’s coaching contract following the conclusion of Sydney FC’s A-League season, Chairman of Sydney FC Scott Barlow said today.
Mr Barlow acknowledged the significant contribution Frank has made to the club over the last two years.
“Frank joined us as coach in a difficult period last season and has always given his absolute dedication and commitment to the club,” Mr Barlow said.
“Frank has shown great integrity and resolve in what has been often challenging circumstances this year.
“I would like to pay tribute to Frank for his professionalism and wish him well for the future,” said Mr Barlow.
The board of Sydney FC also resolved to commence the process for appointing a new head coach following the conclusion of today’s board meeting.
