| Lee Taylor started his professional career for Maidstone United in the old fourth division in the UK. From there, Lee played in America in Ohio State. On completion he had a short spell in Australia playing for Melbourne team Shepparton Football Club.
After his playing career, Lee went into coaching/physiotherapy to stay in the professional game, joining the backroom staff at Cambridge United in 1993. After Cambridge, Lee was No 2 physio at Leyton Orient before joining third division Scarborough in 1998 becoming the youngest physio/strength & conditioning coach in the football league. Lee quickly developed a good reputation and was head of medical services at Barnet, Luton Town, Wimbledon and Boston United before joining Liverpool in 2007/8 where he did fitness and physiotherapy work. In 2010 Lee was approached by Paul Ince then manager at League One outfit Notts County to be Head Strength & Conditioning Coach where he stayed for one year.
Lee joined the Wellington Phoenix in 2011. |
