Lester you are really out of your mind , winning the World Cup , it seems you never watch International Football , its a world of difference with Australia ,. Australia must be happy to qualify , that's already a great achievement ,and you don't understand the dynamics of a National Team, you pick the players who are in the best shape at the moment of the game , that's different from club football. But probably you don't understand this , considering you the comments you made.

Exactly Andrew ! I've been saying the same thing myself in my posts for a while. Verbeek, Holger and Tom Sermani made / make radical changes in the world cup and this cost us. It also shows they don't know what they are doing. Holger is showing all the signs that he is going to do the same as Verbeek and bring in some unheard of guy that no one has heard of or is talking about (eg Davidson and Thwaites) and leave out who everyone knows and is talking about (Rogic, Oar) in day 1 of the WC 2014. He may play Schwarzer everyday till the WC, then put in Federici or Jones, due to either injury to Schwarzer or a last minute change of mind. We have not learnt ? Our squad is great, but The Socceroos and Australian Football's weakest link is our coaches. How do we know Schwarzer won't get sick or injured ? At least give the back ups a few games. Even though I love Schwarzer. Ange, Arnold and Kossie have a game plan, know what they are doing and would make much better coaches for the Socceroos. Also when you bring in a guy, bring 1 guy in at a time, bring in a young guy, don't bring in a guy who's 30+ to make a Socceroos debut ! Consistency is the key. He should have an established team of fairly young guys with a few older stars. You should be making selections of 11 players + subs from a squad of 17 or 18 only. If you have a larger squad it is because you don't know who the best players are. We need to get a new coach for The Socceroos so we have a chance to win the WC. Otherwise Holger is showing all the signs of ruining it like Verbeek did with a brain explosion. Too late to say sorry then like Verbeek sort of admitting he made a mistake. Have we learnt ? If so we need a new coach now. Or someone to look over Holgers selections on game day 1 of the WC. I would prefer you Andrew, or Ange, or Arnold. Anyone sensible. Not someone to leave off Kewell in 2010 or Rogic in 2014.
