Fixture details: Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Football Tournament

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games officially begins on 23 July, but the women's and men's football tournaments start ahead of the Opening Ceremony. 

For the first time since Athens 2004, Australia will be represented in both tournaments by the Matildas and the Olyroos. 

The Matildas will begin their campaign on 21 July against New Zealand, while the Olyroos kick off the next day on 22 July against Argentina. 

Tokyo 2020 will be broadcast on the Seven Network in Australia, but details on the football matches will be released closer to the date.
