Football Australia launches new futsal brand, website and national awareness campaign

Football Australia has unveiled a new futsal brand and dedicated website, alongside the launch of its first national futsal awareness campaign, Play More Football PLAY FUTSAL. 

The new platform, futsal.footballaustralia.com.au, provides a central destination for players, coaches, referees, clubs and families to learn more about the game and the opportunities available across the futsal landscape. 

Visitors can explore what futsal is, its key benefits, positions and Laws of the Game, as well as FAQs and common myths. The website also features dedicated information for coaches and referees, including courses, accreditation pathways, resources and professional development opportunities, while showcasing clear pathways from grassroots participation through to national teams and elite competitions. 

The Play More Football PLAY FUTSAL campaign is built on a simple idea: football doesn't stop when the outdoor season ends. Futsal offers a year-round opportunity to stay connected to the game while developing skills, building confidence and creating new opportunities on and off the court. 

The campaign highlights four key benefits of futsal:

• More Places to play through clubs, competitions and the upcoming Futsal Finder tool.

• More Pathways leading from local participation to national and international opportunities.
