Football Federation Australia (FFA) is deeply saddened to have learned of the passing of Shirley Lowy OAM, wife of FFA Honorary President, Sir Frank Lowy AC, and mother of former FFA Chairman, Mr Steven Lowy AM.
Shirley passed away in Israel last week after a long battle with illness. She was 86.
Shirley is survived by Sir Frank, David, Peter, Steven, Margo and Judy Lowy, their 11 grandchildren, their partners, and seven great grandchildren.
On behalf of the Australian football family, FFA extends its deepest sympathies to the immediate and extended Lowy family, and those closest to Shirley.
