Stadium Australia, the venue for the Final of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™, is set to receive a new giant video screen that will enhance the experience for fans inside the stadium.
The Great Southern Screen will be the "world’s longest straight-run stadium video display" at 120m long and 10m high.
It will stretch across the entire Athletic Centre end of Stadium Australia, equivalent of the length of the football field.
NSW Minister for Sport, the Hon. Natalie Ward MLC, said: "This project will create much-needed construction jobs in Western Sydney and, when it goes live, an unmatched experience for NSW sporting fans.
"The NSW Government is continuing to invest in Sydney’s mega-event venue and home of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to ensure it delivers the ultimate live experience for the people of NSW."
