Doug Utjesenovic

Doug Utjesenovic was born in Belgrade in 1946.

He played 30 games in Yugoslavia with OFK Belgrade before migrating to Australia at the age of 23.

Upon his arrival, Utjesenovic joined Melbourne JUST as a defender before transferring to Sydney St George in 1971.

Utjesenovic became a key player in the Socceroo defence and a member of the 1974 squad to the World Cup finals.

Apart from club duties, he represented Australia 61 times, including 36 'A' internationals.
