Arthur Roberts

Born in Newcastle in 1920, Arthur Roberts began his refereeing career in 1947.

Over the next 30 years he toured with overseas teams, cup and grand finals.

Upon retirement as an active referee, Roberts became an inspector, chairman of the Examination Board, and spent 20 years as president and Life Member of the Northern NSW Referees Association.
