Charles Caruso

Born in Italy in 1934, Charlie Caruso emigrated to Australia in 1950.

His involvement in Adelaide football saw him become president of Juventus club from 1972-80 and president of Adelaide City from 1983-91.

In 1977 Caruso became a member of the NSL executive, holding various positions during the next two decades.

Caruso was chairman of the South Australian Federation from 1990-96, a Life Member of the South Australian Federation and tour leader of the Australian Youth team to Venezuela in 1992.
