Ken Allen

Born in England in 1941, Ken Allen arrived in Australia in 1973 and settled in Canberra.

Allen was appointed to the National Referees panel in 1975 and went on to enjoy a successful career as a referee until he retired in 1991.

He handled three NSL grand finals as well as touring international teams.

During his career Allen became a referees inspector, was elected national and ACT president of the AASRF and was the inaugural deputy chairman of the National Referees Commission.
