Peter Van Ryn

Born in Holland in 1917, Peter Van Ryn migrated to Australia in 1950, beginning a 22-year involvement as a physiotherapist in football. 

Van Ryn stayed with Hakoah Sydney for 21 years.

From 1970-80 he was physio and equipment officer for the Australian team, including three World Cup campaigns.

Van Ryn lectured at football camps, freely assisted local and touring clubs and introduced the current system of close consultation between staff for medical treatment and equipment.
