Peter Ollerton

Born in England in 1951, Peter Ollerton played with Blackpool and Preston before migrating to Australia in 1973.

He signed with Victorian club Wilhelmina and Sydney club APIA before joining South Melbourne for the start of the NSL in 1977.

Ollerton represented Victoria and won Australian selection for the 1974 World Cup finals squad where he played against West Germany and Chile.

A powerful striker, Ollerton scored 15 goals for Australia during 55 matches, including 31 'A' internationals.
