Football Australia is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the highly respected Football Association of Singapore (FAS) President, Mr. Lim Kia Tong, who passed away at the age of 70 on Wednesday.

During an involvement spanning four decades, Mr Lim was a dedicated force for good in the game.

Following his initial election in 2017, he served with distinction as a devoted and constructive FAS President.

His long-standing contribution as Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, and Chairperson of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, meant his impact on the game went far beyond his own nation.
