The focus of Principle IV is to create a dynamic and engaging football product.
Australia’s football landscape has changed significantly in the last 25 years with the number of women, migrant and refugee communities engaged in football activities increasing significantly. While the sport has made significant progress, more can be done to better engage these segments of society, by creating fit-for-purpose football products and offerings.
In addition, Australian football also has an excellent opportunity to capitalise on its world class facilities and natural surroundings and to explore opportunities to grow football products such as futsal and beach soccer. These forms of the sport represent opportunities for growing football’s participation base in new, innovative, and exciting ways.
